I call this "The Mama Song." My mother died at a fairly young age--68 years young! She was very active and effervescent. She was a joy and a delight. Her name was Margie LaJoyce Hornaday Nutt. She was a guitarist and singer and taught her children "little ditties" as she called them..but I (maybe like many of you) just didn't express my love for my mother openly, the way I really felt deep inside. I didn't "love her up" and show her how much she meant to me--and this I so regret. Some sweet day I will reunite with her! Oh what a glorious day that will be!! I wrote this song at her death to express just how much I loved her.. I know that many of you may not have had a good mother--or a mother at all in your life, and my heart goes out to you.. May the God of all Comfort, comfort you, especially at this Christmas Season. May Peace--the feeling that nothing is missing and nothing is broken--be with you all……

Hello all!
This sweet song was written about 15 years ago by my dad about his mom, my grandmother. I have wanted to record it for years. I am currently working on getting several of my Dad's songs recorded to release to everyone. I have always loved his honest, heartfelt, intimate, emotional, spiritual, precious songs and delivery.
We are recording everything here in Arkansas.
Nothing fancy, just the two of us in a room--singing and making good memories. So glad to finally be able to share this song with ya'll. Thanks for listening & Merry Christmas!
